Dighton.com has undergone many changes, over the last three years Dighton.com has grown to support a large community base, and has provided many services and events to the community. Dighton.com has been completely re-designed and developed. The operation of Dighton.com remains the same. Dighton.com has simply transferred ownership and expanded ideology.
Goals of Dighton.com
Dighton.com is aimed at being maintained by the community representing themselves, rather than by individuals representing the community. Our goal is to provide information to Dighton residents and the surrounding communities about what our wonderful town has to offer. We hope to make Dightonians aware of local news, businesses, clubs, events and services offered by and for the folks in town, while making other towns aware of what Dighton residents and business has to offer them. Often you live in a town and never know about a business, service or club until many years later. And had you known you would have preferred to support these folks. Our goal is to continue to change that and to make social groups, businesses, organizations, sport teams etc known in our community and to you.

The effort set forth by the community helping operate Dighton.com to inform the residents of the events and surroundings in their local enviroment is unmatched by any other community in southeast newengland. We have not lost anything at Dighton.com, but rather, gained more. Dighton.com looks to partner with local businesses to offer discounted services to the local community, and help us grow together. We are basically a news paper which emphasizes "buy local" and offers everything local back to the community. Dighton.com offers quite a few services already through local partners, inquire about offering your services through Dighton.com or offering yourself as a local information source by joining Dighton.com volunteers.
Operation
Dighton.com is known as a "green company". A green company is any business that is environment friendly. Since Dighton.com is strictly web based, no paper products are used. No paper products mean no tearing down trees, destroying habitats, or ruining environments. Look at newspapers, magazines, and periodicals. Isn't it almost scary how much paper and ink is used daily with these publishing companies?! Dighton.com is glad to be a green company. Saving resources, animals, and vegetation found around the world always gives us a positive feeling. Because fewer trees are being destroyed, due to the fact that paper is virtually absent from our company, this makes Dighton.com one of the first green companies around. Go green everybody!
